United States: Orrick Advises OpenDoor On $210 Million Series D Financing Round

Orrick has advised San Francisco-based Opendoor Labs Inc., an online real estate startup, in its $210 million Series D financing round. Led by Norwest Venture Partners, the round included NEA, Khosla Ventures, GGV Capital, Access Industries, FifthWall, Lakestar, SVB Capital, Caffeinated Capital and Felicis Ventures. Across all rounds, OpenDoor has now raised more than $320 million. The financing will enable OpenDoor to fund its planned expansion to 10 cities next year. The company currently buys and sells homes in Phoenix and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Orrick has been advising OpenDoor since its inception in 2014. The Orrick team advising OpenDoor was led by Technology Companies Group partner John Bautista and included assistance from Davis Doherty, Pat Zeigler, Natalie Niadj, Jordan Murray and Bella Gelin.
