United States: Strasburger Adds Five Attorneys Across Four Offices

Strasburger & Price LLP, a premier Texas law firm with more than 75 years of history, is pleased to announce the addition of five new attorneys across four of the firm's Texas offices. Virgil W. "Chip" Duffie, III will be of counsel at Strasburger's Dallas office; Danielle Evans joins as an associate in the firm's Collin County office; new associate Frank Scaglione will base his practice in the San Antonio office; and S. Cody Dreibelbis and Drake Lawsage will both join Strasburger's Houston office as associates.

In Dallas, Chip will focus his practice will focus on environmental law, with a particular emphasis on compliance, safety and sustainability issues. Most recently he was chief compliance officer and the sole in-house environmental counsel for the largest environmental and oil recycling company in North America. He has worked extensively with all levels of local, state and federal regulators, as well as multiple political, NGO and community stakeholder groups. Chip holds an M.E.L.P (an advanced legal degree focusing on environmental issues) from Vermont Law School as well as a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Texas and South Carolina.

Just north of Dallas in Collin County, Danielle brings her litigation experience to Strasburger, while seeking to proactively advise and defend clients in the financial and real estate industries. Prior to joining the firm, Evans served as City Attorney for the cities of Algona and Sultan in Washington state where she gained experience in commercial litigation, breach of contract, insurance, DTPA, negligence, personal injury and professional liability matters. She is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law and holds law licenses from Texas and Washington.

In Strasburger's San Antonio office, Frank will focus on commercial litigation, representing clients at trial and appeal in state and federal courts. He has assisted with arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolutions. Before his recent graduation from St. Mary's University School of Law Frank served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force where he was responsible for the 9th Bomb Squadron's $250M flight program to ensure proper training for combat deployment-bound aircrew.

The Strasburger Houston office will welcome Cody to its corporate group where he will focus on the energy, oil and gas industry. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney's office for the Southern District of Texas. Cody is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant and recently graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

Drake, a recent graduate of South Texas College of Law, will also practice in Strasburger's Houston office. Prior to joining Strasburger, he worked for the special prosecutions department under the U.S. Attorney's office in the Southern District of Texas. Drake will focus his practice on commercial litigation.
