Malta: Mamo TCV Contributes To European Commission’s Study On Insolvency Law
Last Updated: 5 December 2016

In March 2015 the European Commission DG Justice commissioned a team from the School of Law at the University of Leeds, to undertake a comparative study on substantive Insolvency Law throughout the EU.The Leeds project team worked alongside a team of 30 national reporters as well as an international advisory group. The national reporters represented each of the 28 EU Member States and two comparator countries, the US and Norway, selected as 'first world' economies with highly developed insolvency and regulatory frameworks. Mamo TCV participated in this study as the Maltese national reporters. The team consisted of Professor Andrew Muscat and Dr. Simon Pullicino from the firm's corporate and insolvency practice group. The full study was published recently and can be found on the European Commission Website.
