Canada: Bull Housser Acts For Point Grey Research Inc. In Connection With Its Sale To FLIR Systems, Inc.

Bull Housser acted for Point Grey Research Inc. ("Point Grey") in connection with the sale of substantially all of its assets and business to subsidiaries of FLIR Systems, Inc., for an aggregate purchase price of US$259 million in cash. The sale completed on November 4, 2016.

Point Grey was founded in 1997 and is based in Richmond, British Columbia. It is a global leader in the development of advanced visible imaging cameras and solutions that are used in industrial automation systems, medical diagnostic equipment, people counting systems, intelligent traffic systems, military and defense products and advanced mapping systems. Point Grey designs, manufactures, and distributes its cameras and related software to a global base of customers.

Bull Housser's team for this transaction included Jay LeMoine, Brad Sollis, Cathie Brayley (tax), Bill McFetridge, Janet Grove, Steve Sharpless, Andrew Schafer (employment), Taryn Mackie (employment) and Ajit Dhillon (articling student).
