Canada: Robert Hunter Awarded Honorary Membership In APEGBC
Last Updated: November 15 2016

We would like to congratulate counsel Robert Hunter for being awarded honorary membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC).

While not a member of the association, Rob was recognized by APEGBC's Council for his tremendous contribution in his 34 years of service. He provided legal counsel and guidance to APEGBC, its presidents, Councils, CEO and staff, and Discipline Committee having worked on some of the most significant litigation cases in the Province.

Honorary membership in APEGBC is considered an extraordinary recognition and reserved for unique and significant contributions to the engineering and geoscience professions in British Columbia.

APEGBC is a not-for-profit organization governed by a council of elected members, licensees and government appointees. Founded in 1920, the association protects the public interest by exercising professional practice standards for all members. APEGBC governs the engineering and geoscience professions under the authority of the Engineers and Geoscientists Act.
