Isle of Man: Paul Branford Joins Dickinson Cruickshank Commercial Department
Last Updated: 16 July 2007

The Commercial Department at Dickinson Cruickshank are pleased to welcome Paul Branford to the team as a new Senior Associate. Following his education at Magdalen College at Oxford University, Paul gained extensive experience at Mann & Partners where he handled a broad range of corporate, commercial, financial services and regulatory issues, before joining Dickinson Cruickshank. His work within the Commercial Department will involve advising corporate institutions on a wide range of company, commercial and trust matters both locally and internationally.

Paul is a valuable addition to the Commercial team which over the last 18 months has seen a rapid period of growth. The department now has 20 advocates/solicitors all focusing on corporate work striving to provide their clients with high levels of service. The appointment of another experienced advocate will continue to strengthen Dickinson Cruickshank’s position as one of the Island’s leading law firms.

Nick Verardi, Joint Head of the Commercial Department commented, "We are delighted to have recruited Paul to the firm where his expertise will add further experience and diversity to our already strong commercial team. Paul’s legal abilities have been extolled in a number of the leading legal directories which are themselves an important benchmark of offshore legal firms. Dickinson Cruickshank’s nomination as ‘Offshore Law Firm of the Year 2006’ by Chambers is evidence of our rapid progress in the offshore world, the reason being that the directories conduct extensive independent research in the marketplace."
