Hosting their annual Private Client Island Series in the Cayman Islands today, 24 October 2016, the International Trusts & Private Client Forum attracts top level speakers, panellists and key delegates from the industry.

As a first-time sponsor of the event, Appleby Cayman is keen to support it, taking full advantage of it being on home territory. It not only provides an opportunity to meet new experts in the global private client arena but provides a chance to participate in a number of panel discussions. Carlos de Serpa Pimentel, Appleby's Global Practice Group Head for Private Client & Trusts will be participating in a discussion on 'The Effect of Foreign Community Property Law on Trusts.'

"As a market leader in the Private Client & Trusts space, Appleby is delighted to be supporting this prestigious international event. Forums such as this play an integral role in bringing together the private client & trust community as well as providing a platform to discuss and learn about industry developments." said Carlos de Serpa Pimentel.

The conference has 40+ speakers, totalling more than 100 registered delegates. Appleby will also be exhibiting during the two-day event at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, which will include a topical discussion on the key issues facing Cayman and what it means for those who practice in the jurisdiction. The conference also seeks to promote the growth of the trusts industry and the establishment of family offices in the Cayman Islands by showcasing the development of the infrastructure of the Islands.
