United States: Seyfarth Shaw Joins The Real Estate Roundtable
Last Updated: October 18 2016

Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today that it has joined The Real Estate Roundtable, a Washington, D.C. based national public policy organization representing all sectors of the commercial and multifamily real estate industry, as a member of its President's Council.

The Real Estate Roundtable brings together leaders of the nation's publicly-held and privately owned real estate ownership, development, lending and management firms with the leaders of national real estate trade associations to jointly address key national policy issues relating to real estate and the overall economy. By identifying, analyzing and coordinating policy positions, the Roundtable's business and trade association leaders seek to ensure a cohesive industry voice is heard by government officials and the public about real estate and its important role in the global economy. Collectively, Roundtable members' portfolios contain over 12 billion square feet of office, retail and industrial properties valued at more than $1 trillion; over 1.5 million apartment units; and in excess of 2.5 million hotel rooms. Participating trade associations represent more than 1.5 million people involved in virtually every aspect of the real estate business. To learn more, please visit here - http://www.rer.org/.

Additional Seyfarth partners will also serve on Roundtable committees including, Steven Meier on the Tax Policy Advisory Committee, Peter Korda and Andrew Pearlstein on the Real Estate Capital Policy Advisory Committee, Jeryl Olson and Andrew Perellis on the Sustainability Policy Advisory Committee, and Christa Dommers on the Homeland Security Task Force.

With more than 140 real estate lawyers across the country, Seyfarth has one of the largest real estate practices in the United States. Both national and local in scope, Seyfarth provides a full range of services including development, construction, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and hospitality and leisure.
