United States: Archer & Greiner Promotes 7 Attorneys To New Positions

Archer & Greiner P.C. has elevated seven attorneys to new positions. Firm President Christopher R. Gibson and Chairman James H. Carll announced: Drew Burach, Suzanne Collins, Tiffany Donio, Daniel Farino, Lloyd Freeman, Doug Leney and Niall O'Brien have been promoted to Partner.

Ms. Collins was previously Of Counsel to the firm, while the other new Partners were previously Associates with Archer & Greiner, one of the region's largest law firms. They concentrate in a variety of legal practice areas and are based in various locations within Archer & Greiner's regional network of full-service offices.

DREW BURACH specializes in family and matrimonial law representation for clients including the areas of divorce, alimony, child support, custody and parenting time and equitable distribution. Drew also provides representation in matters of domestic violence, including temporary and final restraining orders as well as civil restraints. Additionally, he has experience in handling adoptions. In addition to appearing before the Family Court, Drew has also represented clients in mediation and arbitration on all issues of family and matrimonial law. Drew is also a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Rutgers Law School, has appeared before the Appellate Division, and has provided representation for clients in numerous municipal courts.

SUZANNE COLLINS is a trial attorney in the firm's Litigation Department where she represents plaintiffs and defendants in various personal injury matters. Suzanne's cases on behalf of plaintiffs involve catastrophic injuries and wrongful death resulting from automobile and commercial vehicle accidents, work place injuries, slip and falls, product liability, construction accidents, and medical malpractice. She also regularly defends clients against personal injury suits, including claims involving industrial equipment, manufacturing machinery, and consumer products. Suzanne has extensive trial and appellate court experience in both federal and state courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

TIFFANY DONIO specializes in the practice of corporate law and tax law. Tiffany provides representation to for-profit entities and their principals in a variety of matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, corporate and partnership terminations, mergers and acquisitions, business contracting and public company reporting obligations. She also advises clients on a variety of tax issues, including choice of entity, conversions from one form of entity to another, income tax planning, federal and state tax audits and appeals, and compliance with state and local tax laws. Tiffany is currently pursuing an Executive LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.

DANIEL FARINO concentrates his practice on complex environmental matters, and has a wealth of experience in the defense of natural resource damage, toxic tort, product liability, property damage, and personal injury claims. Dan participates in the defense of statutory and common law claims involving state and federal laws in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and beyond, and has significant experience in multidistrict litigation. Dan has particular experience in preparing key fact and expert witnesses for deposition, as well as deposing fact and expert witnesses in an array of subject matters, including those involving soil and groundwater contamination from underground storage tanks and surface spills. Dan also has significant regulatory law experience, and regularly assists and advises clients in navigating New Jersey's complex SRRA, TRSR, and ISRA regulations and obligations. As a member of Archer Discovery Strategies, Dan maintains in depth knowledge of e-discovery trends and obligations, and frequently oversees the collection, review, and production of paper documents and electronically stored information in state, federal, and multidistrict litigations.

LLOYD FREEMAN concentrates his practice in the area of commercial and complex civil litigation in state and federal courts in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has represented clients in trials, arbitration and mediation in both states. Mr. Freeman has experience in commercial and complex matters involving consumer fraud, real property, franchise agreements, business torts, and other issues related to business and contractual disputes. A member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Civil Practice Committee, Lloyd is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of civil procedure both on the state and federal levels.

DOUG LENEY is a member in the firm's litigation department, concentrating his practice in matters involving bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, and debtor/creditor rights. Doug is a trusted advisor to debtors, creditors, trustees, creditors' committees, and foreign representatives in Chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation cases, Chapter 7 cases, Chapter 15 cross-border cases, and related adversary proceedings, including avoidance actions involving claims of preferences and fraudulent transfers. Doug also represents various parties in non-bankruptcy state and federal court matters, ranging from commercial workouts and foreclosures to cases brought in federal District Court under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) and similar statutory regimes.

NIALL O'BRIEN concentrates his practice in the areas of land use, planning and zoning, real estate acquisition, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance at the local, regional and state governmental levels. Niall regularly represents corporate and individual clients before municipal planning boards and zoning boards of adjustment, governing bodies, county boards, and regional and state agencies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in connection with the acquisition, development and use of property. Niall has significant experience representing residential and commercial developers in all phases of development, from pre-acquisition analysis for development potential and title, environmental, and other constraints through the application and development process.
