United States: Four Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner Partners Named Connecticut Super Lawyers

HARTFORD (February 6, 2007)—Four partners from Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP's Hartford office have been recognized as "2007 Connecticut Super Lawyers."

The Super Lawyers listing annually features leading attorneys in more than 60 areas of practice who represent the top 5% of practicing attorneys in their state. Connecticut Super Lawyers are selected through a peer balloting process conducted by a research and review panel organized by Law & Politics magazine.

Thelen’s 2007 Connecticut Super Lawyers are:

Norman H. Roos

Mr. Roos is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Hartford, CT office. His legal practice concentrates on transactional and regulatory matters relating to the real estate and financial services industries. Mr. Roos represents banks, insurance companies, diversified financial service companies and other publicly and privately held companies on a broad range of matters involving mortgage banking, consumer and commercial credit transactions, regulatory compliance and electronic commerce.

Dennis C. Cavanaugh

Mr. Cavanaugh practices in Thelen’s Construction practice and is the Chair of the Surety and Fidelity practice group. For over 21 years, he has counseled contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, public and private owners, tenants, lenders, and sureties in all aspects of construction finance, contract procurement and negotiation, and construction- and commercial-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Brian J. Donnell

Mr. Donnell has more that twenty-five years of experience in construction and business litigation and counseling experience. He has served as lead trial counsel in a variety of matters in state and federal courts, including jury and non-jury matters, and class action and multi-party matters. He also has extensive experience in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, mediations and ADR procedures.

Gregory R. Faulkner

Mr. Faulkner has represented clients in a variety of forums, including litigation in state and federal courts and arbitration and mediation of all types of disputes. He has actively prosecuted or defended claims arising out of all aspects of construction and surety and fidelity law. He has negotiated and drafted numerous contracts on private and public construction projects as well as commercial transactions. In addition, Mr. Faulkner is a frequent writer and lecturer on construction and fidelity and surety law topics.
