Isle of Man: Dickinson Cruickshank Receives Chambers Nomination
Last Updated: 12 October 2006

Dickinson Cruickshank is proud to announce that they have been short listed for the Chambers Global Award for Offshore Law Firm of the Year. These prestigious awards recognise the finest practitioners from across the globe, celebrating expertise and high quality service. The award for Offshore Law Firm of the Year is a highly sought after accolade, and for an Isle of Man law firm to be nominated, is further recognition that the Island is regarded as a jurisdiction that can provide expertise and high quality.

Dickinson Cruickshank are also thrilled to be short listed amongst a number of distinguished and eminent law firms in the industry namely Appleby Hunter Bailhache, Maples and Calder, Mourant du Feu & Jeune, Ogier and Walkers. Nick Verardi Partner and Joint Head of the Commercial Department commented, "This is further recognition of the changes that have taken place at Dickinson’s in the last few years. Earlier this year we were ranked as the leading firm in the Island in the PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook 2006 and were the only Isle of Man firm to be rated one of the top twenty offshore law firms in the world by 'The Lawyer'. To be nominated for these prestigious awards is a great tribute to the development of the firm which has almost doubled in size in the last five years and has attracted lawyers from around the world. It is also recognition for the Island, demonstrating that the Isle of Man has a strong international reputation for excellence."

The award will be presented at a prestigious ceremony held on 16th November at The London Hilton, where over 800 of the cream of the legal profession from around the world will be attending, eager to discover who the winners are.
