United States: Benchmark Litigation Names Five Fox Attorneys Rising Stars
Last Updated: July 20 2016

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that five attorneys in its Litigation Department have been selected as Rising Stars by Benchmark Litigation, the Guide to America's Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.

Benchmark focuses exclusively on the litigation market and gathers its information from a six-month period, where researchers conduct extensive interviews with litigators and clients, identifying the leading firms and litigators, examining recent casework and peer opinions.

The inaugural Rising Star list recognizes partners 40 or younger who are emerging leaders within the firm.

Fox's 2016 Rising Stars are:

Brett A. Berman, a partner in the firm's Philadelphia office, serves as a trusted adviser to his clients on a variety of commercial and business litigation matters. Berman also frequently represents his clients in multimillion-dollar cases related to shareholder disputes and construction and real estate litigation, including construction defects, violations of the Condominium Act and breaches of fiduciary duties by board members. Berman has significant experience representing taxi and transportation providers in various forms of litigation.

Peter C. Buckley, a partner in the firm's Philadelphia office, counsels AmLaw 200 law firms on managing and avoiding risk and defends attorneys accused of malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and intentional misconduct. He works to achieve pragmatic solutions to client disputes before they boil over to litigation.

James C. Clark, a partner in the firm's Warrington office, is an experienced litigator with a diverse background. Clark represents, among various others, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, professional athletes and individuals in matters involving complex commercial litigation, white-collar compliance and criminal defense, government and internal investigations, regulatory affairs, healthcare, environmental law, insurance coverage disputes and allegations of anti-doping violations. Clark has also successfully defended global companies against Federal Class Action lawsuits in jurisdictions throughout the United States.

J. Benjamin Nevius, a partner in the firm's Exton office, is an experienced civil litigator and business counselor with significant first-chair experience representing and advising individuals, families, physicians, lenders, public institutions and businesses – from family-run operations to multinational corporations. In addition to his representation of private clients, Nevius represents multiple public school districts, municipalities, boards and quasi-municipal corporations.

Nicholas S. Salter, a partner in the firm's Warrington office, is an experienced trial attorney whose practice areas include complex commercial litigation, class action, insurance coverage, personal injury, product liability, employment and mass tort matters.
