Australia: Norton Rose Fulbright is global leader in project finance, ranked by IJ Global

  • Number one globally for volume of deals, with 28 deals completed in H1 2016
  • Number one globally for value of deals worked on, amounting to $25.7bn in H1 2016

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has been ranked first globally for the number of project finance deals completed, and their combined value, by leading infrastructure deal analysis and news outlet, IJ Global. The rankings list deal data across a range of sectors globally for the first half of 2016.

The firm also topped rankings for the Asia Pacific region by deal value and mining sector by both deal count and value. In addition the firm was listed first by volume of deals in the Middle East and North Africa region, and in the renewables and oil and gas sectors.

The firm also advised on the project financing of the £2.6bn Beatrice offshore wind farm in Scotland, listed by IJ Global as one of the largest transactions to take place this year, globally.
