Australia: Sydney Lawyers Orchestra compose special performance to raise funds for Fiji cyclone appeal
Last Updated: 6 June 2016

Last week Corrs Chambers Westgarth partner Thomas Jones led the Sydney Lawyers Orchestra (SLO) in a special concert to raise funds for Save the Children's Fiji cyclone appeal.

Tropical Cyclone Winston ravaged Fiji earlier this year causing extensive damage across the country and claiming a number of lives.

The performance held at Ferguson Hall, St Stephen's Uniting Church drew an engaged audience for the lunchtime festivities. Viewers listened to four pieces of music by some of the great composers and were visibly entranced with the dynamic aural journey.

The concert was open to the public with the opportunity for audience members to donate to the worthy cause.

Founded in 2014 by Thomas Jones, the SLO brings together like-minded musicians from across the legal profession to share their creative talents.
