David A. Guadagnoli will present "Retirement Plan Issues and Corrections" at the Massachusetts Society of CPAs' (MSCPA) Employee Benefit Plan Conference. Mr. Guadagnoli will discuss ways in which the IRS and DOL allow clients to fix retirement plan problems, including:

  • the Employee Plans Compliance Unit (EPCU) and the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) for tax qualification failures
  • the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program (VFCP) for fiduciary and prohibited transaction issues
  • the Delinquent Filer Voluntary Correction (DFVC) program and the IRS's newest non-ERISA Form 5500 late filer program
