United States: Withers Bergman’s New Greenwich Office Sets Stage For Continued Growth
Last Updated: May 10 2016

Expansion Reflects Commitment to Region

Greenwich, Conn. – May 4, 2016 – The law firm Withers Bergman recently opened the doors of its new Greenwich, Connecticut office, building on its recent dramatic growth in headcount and capabilities in the region. The firm has tripled its Greenwich footprint by moving to a 17,000 square foot office at 1700 East Putnam Avenue, leaving space for more growth to come.

"Last year we brought on nationally recognized, esteemed attorneys who've significantly increased our corporate, litigation and intellectual property capabilities in Greenwich," said David Lehn Withers Bergman partner and Greenwich office managing director. "This year, we're expanding our office to match the investment we've made in our team and those we serve in the region. Greenwich is a vital financial center of the Northeast for both established and entrepreneurial wealth, and our commitment and growth here reflects our ability to serve our successful clients across industries."

With last year's additions of partners M. Ridgway Barker, Patricia M. Lee and Clyde Tinnen to the firm's corporate practice group and partners James E. Nealon and Steven J. Moore to the litigation and intellectual property practices, the new office makes space for the firm's expanded capabilities. The renovated office includes state-of-the-art facilities to suit the needs of the attorneys and their clients.

The office is also designed to foster collaboration among Withers attorneys, who regularly work together in an integrated fashion to address complex client issues across the firm's resources in New York, California and internationally.

"We are excited about providing sophisticated solutions to corporate, finance and intellectual property legal issues in the Withers platform of integrated services," says Ridge Barker, Partner and Chair of Corporate Finance.

"Our commitment to our clients with business and personal interests in Greenwich has never been stronger," said Ivan A. Sacks, Chairman of the firm. "We are dedicated to serving our clients wherever their interests lie, and expanding our Greenwich office will help us better serve our clients not just in Connecticut, but around the world."

As part of the firm's commitment to longevity in the closely-knit community of Greenwich, Withers is active in supporting local charities such as the American Red Cross and the Bruce Museum and has been awarded the Good Neighbor Award.

Withers also recently expanded its foothold in California by opening offices in Los Angeles, Rancho Santa Fe and San Diego in 2015. Internationally, the firm has recently enhanced its global strength through partnerships in Australia, Singapore and Japan.
