Jersey: Ogier In Luxembourg Is Proud To Sponsor Actors Rep
Last Updated: 13 April 2016

Ogier Luxembourg is proud to sponsor Actors Repertory Theatre ('Actors Rep'), the only professional English language theatre company in Luxembourg.  The company's collective international experience spans a vast array of professional productions on stages from London's West End to New York, Paris and Chicago. Since its launch in 2013, the company has gone from strength to strength delivering passionate, thought provoking theatre to the English language community in Luxembourg.

In December 2015 Actors Rep performed, by personal invitation of the British Ambassador, Alice Walpole. 'A Shakespearean Farewell' was devised by Associate Artistic Director, Rhona Richards, and Producing Director, Timothy Lone, in collaboration with Dominic Dromgoyle, former Artistic Director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London.

The event was attended by numerous other ambassadors, members of government and senior partners of financial services firms, as was Actors Rep's most recent production of March 2016 'Do you want to know a secret', a modern piece set in Berlin around the fall of the Berlin wall by an award-winning US playwright.

Rhona Richards, Associate Artistic Director from Actors Rep said "The support of Ogier has been invaluable to Actors Rep. In the last year we've staged four critically acclaimed productions and have also reached a younger audience via a number of well received school performances. There is a real thirst for English language theatre in Luxembourg and Ogier's generous sponsorship is helping Actor's Rep to bring professional, quality productions to the Duchy."
