Last Updated: 12 April 2016

Sparke Helmore Lawyers is delighted to announce the appointment of Karwan Eskerie to the partnership. Karwan, who is based in the Sydney office, is a litigator and government law practitioner. He has extensive experience acting for various government clients in a wide range of practice areas, including constitutional, administrative, regulatory and commercial law.

"The partners of Sparke Helmore congratulate Karwan on his appointment. I'm always delighted when we promote lawyers, like Karwan, who already make an enormous contribution to our clients and the firm. His appointment is consistent with the firm's strategy to grow our government practice, as was the recent return to the firm of Partner Chantal Tipene," said Mark Hickey, Sparke Helmore's Chairman of Partners.

Karwan conducts advocacy for Commonwealth and state government clients on a regular basis in various courts and tribunals, including the Federal Court, the Federal Circuit Court and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
