United States: Labor & Employment Attorneys Boland And Ramirez Join Strasburger’s San Antonio Office

Strasburger & Price, LLP (Strasburger) is pleased to announce that Board Certified Labor and Employment attorneys Soña Ramirez and Adam D. Boland have joined Strasburger's San Antonio office. Ramirez comes to the firm as a partner and Boland as senior counsel.

"I am delighted to welcome Soña and Adam to the Strasburger team," remarked San Antonio partner in charge Marty Roos. "Their experience and skills in the labor and employment arena will enhance Strasburger's ability to provide excellent client service across a variety of industries."

Soña represents employers in employment-related litigation in federal and state venues and before administrative agencies. She handles wage and hour disputes as well as sexual harassment, retaliation and discrimination claims. She also provides advice regarding a broad range of matters including everything from hiring, contract and employment agreements and terminations. She trains managers and human resources professionals in compliance with state and federal employment laws. Soña served as Briefing Attorney to Chief Justice Phil Hardberger and Justice Phyllis Speedlin with the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas.

Soña is admitted to practice in Texas and before the Southern and Western U.S. District Courts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. She received a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2002 and a B.A. from St. Mary's University in 1998.

Adam advises employers on all facets of employment law, including federal and state employment-related lawsuits and agency claims. He handles matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. He has successfully defended employers in trials and arbitration proceedings. Adam also provides advice and training to employers concerning litigation avoidance, wage and hour laws, leaves of absence, employee discipline, hiring and termination issues, privacy claims, reductions in force and other human resources issues.

Adam is admitted to practice in Texas and before the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western U.S. District Courts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He received a J.D. cum laude from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2004 and attended McMurry University where he received a B.B.A. cum laude in 2001.
