Last Updated: 1 April 2016

The partners of Sparke Helmore would like to congratulate Vi-Ky Lam on his appointment to the partnership.

"I'm delighted to welcome Vi-Ky to the partnership. His breadth of domestic and international transactional legal experience will make him a valuable member of our Corporate Group leadership team, which includes Shannon Platt, Richard Chew, Ben Burney, Adam Fuller, David Reid and myself," said Mark Hickey, the firm's Chairman of Partners.

Vi-Ky, who is based in Sydney, advises leading corporates, private equity investors, institutions, venture capital funds and high net worth individuals on public and private M&A, venture capital and private equity transactions. Vi-Ky has acted on a variety of complex M&A transactions, including public takeovers, cross-border transactions, international corporate restructurings, privatisations and capital raisings.

"This is a very dynamic market and I'm excited about the opportunities ahead," said Vi-Ky.

Before joining Sparke Helmore in 2012, Vi-Ky worked at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, Hewlett-Packard in Geneva and also assisted Ausgrid in the NSW Energy Reform Program.
