New office in Parma to cater to food industry

Trevisan & Cuonzo, one of the country's leading law firms celebrates the opening of its Parma office with RE-PRODU©TION, an exhibition of 41 pieces of modern art, every one offering a new take on a famous painting.

Says Managing Partner Gabriel Cuonzo: "These works of art relate to the idea of copyright, giving all of us a fresh perspective on the topic." The collection will be open to the public only on the day of the celebration, on January 22.

Trevisan & Cuonzo opened the Parma office as the first law firm in Italy to specialize in IP issues for the food and food-related sectors. Parma is the capital of Italian food production and now also the center for the new European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). "Many companies in the food sector producers have strong products and we want the producers to turn them into strong brands they can protect worldwide," says Daniela Ampollini, head of the Parma office.
