Cayman Islands: DMS Targets $10bn For New UCITS And AIF ICAV Platforms
Last Updated: 15 February 2016

DMS Offshore Investment Services has transferred its Irish Plc AIFM and Ucits platforms into Icavs and aims to launch a further 22 fund strategies in the new structures over coming months, a recent HFMWeek article has revealed.

Since January 2015, DMS has launched 31 mandates while there are a further 22 in the process of launching with some managers waiting until its Icav was established before launching.

The article also highlighted David Morrissey, who recently joined DMS as Executive Director.

"Many of the managers that are launching with us this year had already agreed to come on board our platform but were waiting for the Icav to be launched while we have also had a significant number of existing managers move across from the old Irish Plc structure," said Morrissey.
