Jersey: Ogier Natural Resources Specialists Join Jersey Delegation At Mining Indaba
Last Updated: 11 February 2016

Ogier partners Raulin Amy and Simon Dinning have joined a delegation of professionals from Jersey at Mining Indaba – the world's largest mining investment event - in Cape Town this week.

Jersey's relationship with Africa and companies engaged in mining and resources continues to grow.

Simon said: "When we attended Mining Indaba last year we found there was a very positive reaction to the Jersey offering, which includes funding, structuring and investment in the mining and resources sector.

"Foreign inward investment to Africa is growing, and is moving from transactional activity to deeper rooted relationships, which is very positive for African countries.

"Ogier's Natural Resources team works with mining and resources clients to establish and use holding, operating and investment vehicles. We also work with a diverse range of clients in other sectors across Africa.

"We are very pleased to be attending Mining Indaba with Locate Jersey, who have been instrumental in the growth of a community of international exploration and mining operatives located within Jersey."

Mining Indaba hosts, annually, mining industry leaders, government ministers, and local and foreign investors.
