Jeanne P. Darcey will participate in a panel discussion, "Buying & Selling Trouble: Distressed M&A, Tax Issues and Protecting Clients from Themselves," at the American Bar Association, Business Law Section Spring Meeting. Ms. Darcey's panel will review the issues associated with distressed mergers and acquisitions, including the effect of entity selection on the disposition, bankruptcy vs. non-bankruptcy resolutions, and industry specific tax consequences of particular decisions, including, real estate, manufacturer/industrial, energy, and financial services. They will also examine some of the international tax considerations at play.
