Australia: Gold four years in a row for Corrs IP and trademarks team
Last Updated: 3 February 2016

Corrs Chambers Westgarth has received a gold rating in Enforcement & Litigation for the fourth year in a row in the 2016 World Trademark Review 1000 – the guide to The World's Leading Trade Mark Professionals.

The recognition reinforces the strong client service the team delivers, with the WTR1000 guide stating the Corrs team is "...meticulous about quality and it does a truly excellent job. It is active on all fronts and its clients couldn't ask for any more."

Corrs partners Stephen Stern, Odette Gourley, Tim Allen and Kate Hay are singled out as some of the top individuals in trade mark enforcement and litigation in Australia.

The WTR 1000 commentary refers to Stephen as an "anti-counterfeiting legend"; Odette is said to be "mover and shaker in the antipodean IP world"; and Tim ""exudes expertise", blending profound substantive legal knowledge with pragmatism to arrive at innovative solutions to unforeseen problems."

Partner Kate Hay recently joined the team in Melbourne and is described as a "tenacious litigator".
