Canada: Top M&A And Capital Markets Lawyer Joins BLG

Borden Ladner Gervais LLP is pleased to announce that Alfred Buggé has joined the firm's Montréal and Toronto offices as a partner in the Securities & Capital Markets Group.

Alfred brings a wide breadth of experience in matters related to public and private M&A, securities, private equity, corporate finance, and venture capital work. His practice includes acting for bidders and target companies in the context of hostile and friendly take-over bid transactions and for independent committees established by the boards of directors of target companies. Alfred also acts for private equity funds in connection with fund formations, capital raising transactions and M&A transactions. He has acted for a diverse base of foreign and domestic clients including companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, pension funds, institutional investors and investment banks.
