United States: Thompson & Knight Expands International Practice With the Addition of Toshiyuki Yoshida

Dallas -- The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Toshiyuki Yoshida as of counsel in its International practice group. Yoshida, who will be in the firm’s Dallas office, has solid international energy and project management experience in multinational oil and gas projects. Additionally, he has headed several oil and gas acquisitions valued at more than $300 million.

Previously, Yoshida was the General Manager of oil and gas exploration and production at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in Tokyo. Prior to that position, he served as a Senior Vice President for Mitsui Oil (Asia), responsible for oil and gas business development in the Asian region while stationed in Singapore. Yoshida’s prior experience also includes board positions with Japan Australia LNG (MIMI) Pty. Ltd. and Novus Petroleum Ltd. in Australia. Yoshida is a native Japanese speaker.

He received an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2004 and an LL.B. from Waseda University in Tokyo in 1981.
