New Zealand: Cavell Leitch commits to the Christchurch CBD
Last Updated: 22 December 2015

We are delighted to announce that Cavell Leitch is relocating its Christchurch office back into the heart of the central business district in early 2017.

Following the 2011 earthquakes our firm was displaced to the Hazeldean Business Park where we set up terrific offices and have continued to thrive as a business.

However, the Partners have discussed our premises needs and obligations in detail and believe a move back into the very centre of the city is the right move for our firm.

We are an integral part of the Christchurch business community and a significant employer of staff. We feel that it is our duty to support the regeneration of Christchurch by bringing our 90 strong team back in to the heart of the city as soon as we feasibly can.

We have specifically selected the BNZ Centre in Cashel Mall because of its central location in the heart of the CBD. Our clients who are similarly located in the CBD will again be able to walk to our offices to meet with us.

Just as importantly our clients who will be driving to see us will be able to drive in from Hereford Street and park onsite in the client car parks we have arranged within our own building so that client access is the same or even better than at our current offices.

Like many people in Christchurch our firm, partners and staff have been through five years of pain and we all want Christchurch to become an amazing city again as soon as possible. That is not going to happen if we don't put our money where our mouths are and support our CBD.

We hope that other successful business will follow our lead and join us in helping to make Christchurch's CBD better than ever before.

At this stage we are aiming to relocate in March 2017 and we are working really hard on the designs and other requirements to make this happen.
