Last Updated: 20 December 2015

15 December 2015: Clayton Utz is proud to have again supported the Movember Foundation, raising over $40,000 and securing the Highest Fundraising Company title for the Movember 1 Legal Industry Challenge for the third consecutive year.

Launched in 2013, the Legal Industry Challenge is one of twelve industry challenges hosted by the Movember Foundation as part of its annual Movember campaign. The Industry Challenges foster friendly competition between people and companies within certain industries or sectors, while raising funds and awareness for men's health.

Clayton Utz chief executive partner Rob Cutler participated in this year's challenge alongside 50 other Clayton Utz team members to achieve the fundraising total. He said the firm's involvement grew every year.

"We have a longstanding relationship with the Movember Foundation, having participated in the Movember Legal Industry Challenge since it first started in 2013 and raising $120,000 in the three years to date. It's a great way to encourage a competitive spirit among firms and our people enjoy getting involved."

In 2015, the Movember Legal Industry Challenge attracted 26 teams, with 265 members raising a collective $119,000. This included 51 Clayton Utz employees raising a total of $40,976 to date, which incorporates a $5,000 grant from the Clayton Utz Foundation.

Nationally, almost 70,000 people participated in Movember this year, raising close to $16 million for the cause. Clayton Utz featured in the top ten highest fundraising teams in Australia, coming in at ninth place.
