UK: Clyde & Co Strengthens Connections With The Baltic Exchange
Last Updated: 18 December 2015

Clyde & Co is officially a member of the Baltic Exchange, the world's only provider of high quality, independent, freight market information covering both the dry and wet markets.

Founded in 1744, the Baltic Exchange is one of the world's oldest maritime bodies and is the world's only independent source of maritime market information for the trading and settlement of physical and derivative shipping contracts.

As a member of the Baltic the firm will benefit from its far reaching network of over 600 international members. It will also enable Clyde & Co's global marine practice to access exclusive market data, which will provide it with the latest market insight.

Nick Austin, Partner at Clyde & Co comments: "We're delighted to be enhancing our relationship with one of the world's oldest marine organisations through formal membership."

"As one of the world's leading marine practices we have established ourselves as a prominent voice in the industry. We are looking forward to collaborating with the Baltic Exchange."

Clyde & Co has the largest marine practice worldwide, with 50 global partners and 95 other qualified lawyers across 45 offices.

Clyde & Co's marine group acts for clients throughout the marine industry including charterers, P&I clubs and insurers, owners, builders, shipbuilders, salvors, financiers, port authorities and governments.
