United States: Randall R. Lee Named To The Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s Annual List Of Rainmakers
Last Updated: December 7 2015

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named Partner Randall Lee a 2015 Rainmaker. The MCCA's Annual List of Rainmakers recognizes 15 lawyers from around the country whose professional success and business development skills offer insight and value to lawyers at every career stage.

The MCCA profile notes that Lee began his legal career as a transactional lawyer and then switched paths to become a federal prosecutor. After spending 13 years in public service, first as an Assistant US Attorney then as Regional Director for the Pacific Region of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Lee joined WilmerHale in 2007 to open its Los Angeles office, where he remains partner-in-charge. Lee's practice focuses on representing companies and individuals in investigations by the SEC, the US Department of Justice, and other regulatory and law enforcement agencies, as well as in complex civil litigation.

Lee is active in the community, particularly in organizations concerning diversity issues. He currently serves as vice chair of the board of trustees of the Japanese American National Museum. He previously served as Chair of the SEC Enforcement Division's Diversity Committee, as a member of the ABA Litigation Section Task Force on the Attorney-Client Privilege, and as a member of the board of directors of the Constitutional Rights Foundation and the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California. Lee is a longtime member of the Japanese American Bar Association and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers' Association.

The MCCA published Lee's Rainmaker profile to page 56 of its November/December 2015 edition of Diversity & The Bar magazine.
