Cavell Leitch is excited to announce that Peter Mitchell has joined our Resource Management Team as a Consultant.

Peter is a well known, very experienced local government practitioner with over 30 years experience advising Christchurch City Council on a wide range of governance and regulatory matters, both as a lawyer and subsequently as GM Regulation & Democracy Services then Principal Advisor, Governance.

Peter's experience includes council decision making processes (both at Councillor and staff level), official information, Ombudsman reviews, consenting and enforcement processes and making submissions to parliamentary and central government agencies.

As a consultant Peter provides support to our Resource Management Team with specialist local government related advice for our clients.
