United States: Fox Wins SmartCEO’s Healthiest Company Award
Last Updated: September 29 2015

Fox Rothschild LLP has been named the 2015 Philadelphia Healthiest Company in the 1,000+ employees category by SmartCEO magazine.

The inaugural award honors companies and firms that have demonstrated a commitment to their employee populations, investing not just in the future of their business but in the future of employees and their families as well.

The firm was highlighted for its Fox Fit & Well initiative. The lauded program, launched in 2009, provides attorneys and staff the opportunity to make healthy choices and become educated consumers of health care. The program has resulted in increased employee participation in annual biometric screenings, monthly healthy breakfasts, routine on-site yoga classes and smoking cessation programs.

"Nearly 70 to 90 percent of health care costs are due to unhealthy choices and preventable risks," said Mark L. Silow, Fox's firmwide managing partner. "The Fox Fit & Well initiative was designed to help participants stay healthy and reduce overall health care costs."

Working in conjunction with the firm's health care provider, Fox Fit & Well helps participants undertake specific wellness goals and develop them into individual steps and action plans. Fox also partners with The Vitality Group to provide wellnesses resources for all employees. Staff can develop personalized objectives and receive points for completing them, which can then be redeemed for rewards and prizes.
