United States: Diversity Journal Recognizes Two Partners Among Women Worth Watching
Last Updated: September 18 2015

Partners Elizabeth Mitchell and Heather Zachary have been named to Diversity Journal's annual list of Women Worth Watching, which recognizes professional women for their passion, potential and positive influence both inside and outside the workplace. The special edition provides leading women the opportunity to tell their stories of achievements and lessons learned during the process.

"This is our 14th year of producing our annual Women Worth Watching issue," said James R. Rector, CEO and Publisher. "Each year, we are extremely encouraged by the number of organizations in every sector that support the career advancement of the women in their workplaces. We have also been proud to provide an award with such meaningful impact on the movement for gender equity in workforce leadership."

Mitchell represents and counsels financial institutions, corporations, and their employees in regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation involving the federal securities laws. She has extensive experience in matters involving algorithmic trading and complex trading systems, and compliance with related regulatory obligations. Mitchell's profile includes the words she lives by, career advice and how she stays focused.

Zachary counsels and advocates for clients on the full spectrum of privacy and data-security issues—from routine matters to cutting-edge issues where the law is far from clear and the enforcement risks are high. She also represents communications companies in FCC proceedings and appellate litigation. Zachary's profile showcases her thoughts on leadership, her biggest career leap, and what it's like being a woman in the industry.
