United States: New Jersey State Bar Association Casino Law Section Names Duane Morris Attorneys Eric Frank And Adam Berger To Leadership Positions

CHERRY HILL, N.J., June 11, 2015—Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric D. Frank and Adam Berger to leadership positions within the New Jersey State Bar Association's Casino Law Section. Frank, an associate in the firm's Cherry Hill, N.J. office, will serve as the vice chair of the group. Berger, also an associate in the Cherry Hill office, will serve as secretary. Duane Morris partner Christopher L. Soriano is the outgoing chair of the Section. He replaced Frank A. DiGiacomo, also a partner in the firm.

Frank is a litigator and concentrates his practice in the areas of gaming and regulatory matters. In 2014, he was selected as one of Global Gaming Business Magazine's "40 Under 40." He was also designated a 2014 "New Leader of the Bar" by the New Jersey Law Journal. Berger practices in the area of gaming law, with experience in litigation and corporate law. He was selected as a 2015 "New Leader of the Bar" by the New Jersey Law Journal. Prior to his appointment as secretary, he served as treasurer for the Casino Law Section.

Hersh Kozlov, the managing partner of the Cherry Hill office and the leader of the Gaming Industry Practice Group, has more than 30 years of experience and is regularly profiled in Best Lawyers in America and New Jersey Super Lawyers. Gaming industry representations of the practice group include:

  • Obtaining, on behalf of Resorts Casino Hotel, in partnership with SNG Interactive, the necessary approvals to launch an online casino on an innovative iGaming platform compatible with mobile devices and desktops;
  • Representing Tioga Downs Racetrack, LLC in submitting its application and response to the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board's request for applications to develop and operate a gaming facility in New York State; and
  • Representing Scientific Games Corporation in its acquisition of WMS Industries Inc., combining leading businesses offering lottery games, gaming machines and game content, systems, sports betting technology, and social, mobile and interactive content and services.
