Australia: [Event] Building and Construction Industry Payments Act workshop
Last Updated: 21 July 2015

The Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004 (Qld) (BCIPA) was introduced to provide a swift and efficient resolution to payment disputes in the building and construction industry in Queensland. BCIPA has significantly altered the way in which payment disputes are run in the construction industry and it is critical for contractors to understand how the process works in order to protect their statutory right to progress payments under BCIPA. Given the significant amendments to the Act which commenced on 15 December 2014, it is now more important than ever to ensure you are fully across BCIPA and its ramifications for your business.

CCF QLD has a three hour workshop presented by Holding Redlich lawyers which provides practical training and tips on BCIPA to assist participants in getting paid for their work and to help protect them from having to pay unwarranted claims.
