Netherlands: Vistra Depositary Services Approved As Depositary In The Netherlands
Last Updated: 16 June 2015

Vistra Depositary Services (VDS) has been approved as a depositary by the Netherlands Authority for Financial Markets (Autoriteit Financiële Markten). According to the Dutch Central Bank, the Vistra Depositary Services team meets the financial requirements under the Financial Supervisions Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht).

The depositary is expected to act honestly, fairly, professionally, independently and in the interest of the alternative investment fund and its investors. Its responsibilities include reconciling cash flows, verifying ownership and conducting supervisory duties. The VDS team has the knowledge and experience to carry out depositary duties effectively.

Earlier this year, VDS received the ISAE 3402 Type I certification. Developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, the ISAE 3402 is a global assurance standard that auditors can use to ensure the integrity of an organisation's internal controls.
