UK: Clyde & Co Expands Manchester Presence With New Offices
Last Updated: 10 June 2015

New office demonstrates the firm's continued commitment to growth and expansion

Clyde & Co has today moved part of its growing Manchester-based team into the historical and centrally located The Royal Exchange.

Commenting on the move, James Dadge, partner and head of the Clyde & Co Manchester office said:

"Our Manchester office has been one of our firm's greatest success stories. It has grown 19 per cent in the last year, with a 22 per cent increase in headcount, positioning us as one of the largest firms in the city. To enable us to continue to expand our team and portfolio of business in Manchester we are delighted to be moving some of our team to the beautiful, historic and central premises at The Royal Exchange."

The move, as well as the four partner hires over the past ten months, reflects the firm's commitment to its UK regional operations and its continued plans for expansion.

Of the 370 Manchester staff, 57 are moving to The Royal Exchange offices and will be joined by new partner hires and their teams in the upcoming months.

The Royal Exchange building is a well-known Manchester landmark, originally built in the 1860's, but has been in its current form since October 1921 when it was officially opened by King George V and Queen Mary. The building is listed as having special architectural and historical significance. Its recent upgrade of high-standard internal fittings, sits perfectly with the Clyde & Co brand.
