Export Credit Deal of the Year - InterJet' US$415 million SuperJet100 ECA financing
Norton Rose Fulbright advised the export credit agencies (ECAs) and ECA lenders on the financing of nine Sukhoi–SuperJet 100 aircraft for Mexican carrier InterJet, which represents the first ECA supported financing of this type of aircraft, with ECA support provided by way of 100% guarantees. South America Deal of the Year - Avianca's US $210 million French Optimized Lease.

Tax Lease Deal of the Year - Turkish Airlines US$200m ECA-backed Italian tax lease
Norton Rose Fulbright advised the European ECAs on an ECA-backed Italian tax lease to finance the delivery of two A330-300 aircraft for Turkish Airlines, the first ever European ECA-backed Italian Tax Lease deal. Partner George Paterson and associate Alexandra Howe advised the ECAs.

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised on some of the largest, most innovative transactions in recent years, including advising Emirates on a US$913 million Sukuk in April 2015, marking a world first for utilising a UK Export Finance backed Sukuk for an aircraft financing, the first time that a Sukuk has been used to pre-fund the acquisition of aircraft and the first ever Sukuk financing for A380 aircraft.
