Madgwicks Lawyers invites you to join us for our next Friends of Madgwicks seminar on landlord and tenant obligations under retail leases.

Who is responsible for complying with the Essential Safety Measures (ESM) requirements under the Building Act and repair and maintenance obligations under the Retail Leases Act?

In this session, James Christodoulakis from our Property group will present on landlords and tenants obligations under the Building Act 1993 (Vic) and the Retail Leases Act 2003 (Vic) in the context of VCAT's recent decision (In the matter of referral of matters to VCAT for an advisory opinion pursuant to s.125 of the VCAT ACT 1998 [2015] VCAT 478).

It is fair to say that landlords will not be too pleased!
