United States: WK&G Receives Outstanding Employee Campaign Award from United Way
Last Updated: October 28 2003
Seattle, WA (October 15, 2003) -- The United Way of King County has presented its Outstanding Employee Campaign Award for 2002-2003 to Williams, Kastner & Gibbs PLLC, based on the firm's significant contribution over the past five years to the McMullin-Robertson Foundation. The foundation was established in memory of Ken McMullin and Bill Robertson, former WK&G attorneys who passed away prematurely and unexpectedly. The McMullin-Robertson Foundation supports Safe Crossings, a service of Providence Hospice of Seattle, that helps children prepare for the death of someone they love. The program begins before the loss and continues to provide support during the period of active grieving. Its goal is to help children experience the process of grieving in a healthy way so that they may eventually regain their natural sense of joy.
