Australia: Profile on Cristina Clemente, Director at Moore Stephens, Adelaide
Last Updated: 8 May 2015

Recently, Cristina Clemente received an email from a client stating " will have to come and have photos taken at Palmer Station now. Maybe scruffing a calf or driving the truck!"

This could be regarded as unusual for a Director of an Adelaide accounting firm - but not in Cristina's case.

The comment was received after Cristina Clemente appeared in our previous edition of Moore Advice, loading cattle on another property around 300 kilometres out of Alice Springs.

It's all in a day's work for Cristina, who once again travelled up to the NT in March 2015 to visit clients on their outback properties before attending the Northern Territory Cattlemen's Association (NTCA) annual conference in Darwin. She also hosted a table of clients at the Ladies Day, a popular event in the NTCA calendar.

Adelaide-based, Cristina has gained widespread recognition within the agribusiness sector. She also has clients that are manufacturers, service providers and investors, as well as high net worth individuals. With over 20 years of experience in Taxation and Business Services in SA and NT, Cristina enjoys focusing on assisting small to medium-sized family owned businesses across these industries.

During her many years as a Chartered Accountant, Cristina has built up particular expertise in superannuation advice and planning, financial and management reporting, as well as estate planning.

She holds a Bachelor of Accounting, Post Graduate Diploma of Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Cristina is also a Certified Tax Practitioner with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Cristina prides herself on offering the highest level of client service and many years of experience have demonstrated to her just how important it is that clients have someone they can trust to listen to their business problems, and can rely on to be active in determining the best solution.

Cristina works with business owners to ensure both business and personal objectives are met and this, in turn, has enabled her to build long-lasting relationships with her clients beyond pure accounting services. Which is why the comment above is not that unusual for her!

Outside of the office, Cristina is married to Peter and they live in Tranmere with their two children. She devotes much of her spare time to her young family, as well as sits on various committees.
