Australia: [Event] An upcoming free seminar on The Changing Face of Aged Care
Last Updated: 8 May 2015

Are you or is someone close to you moving into residential aged care?

If so, then planning ahead for this event can save families a lot of emotional stress. Here is how we can provide some complimentary assistance.

In order to help you negotiate the range of care options available and to gain an understanding of how it all works, we have invited Jonathan Kermode, a Senior Financial Planner with Halpin Financial Services, to present an express lunchtime seminar in our Boardroom on this topic.

With over 16 years' experience in strategic financial planning, Jonathan specialises in providing advice in relation to retirement planning, superannuation and investment strategies, including Self Managed Superannuation Funds. He also provides advice in the area of succession planning including personal insurances.

Australia has an ageing population and due to the pressure this is putting on the Aged Care sector, the Government has made significant changes to the Aged Care Rules since 1 July 2014, which includes a reform of aged care fees. In doing so, a major part of the Government's response has been to fund more home care packages.

So what does this mean to you? Our seminar will clearly explain the options available as well as include a few tips about how to negotiate your way around them to best suit your needs - and your pocket.

In order to ascertain which date we should hold the seminar on, if you are interested in attending, could you please indicate your preference for one of three potential dates by clicking here:

Once we establish what the preferred date is, we will send out the formal event invitations.

You are welcome to forward this on if you have a friend, relative or colleague that may be interested.
