The IRS and the U.S. Treasury has finally published the long-awaited final Internal Revenue Code (IRC) §501(r) regulations for charitable hospitals. In some cases, the changes are minor tweaks, adding clarification and consistency; other changes are more substantial. Yet all not-for-profit hospitals must comply or risk losing their tax-exempt status.

These final regulations apply to taxable years beginning after Dec. 29, 2015. Preparations should begin now, regardless of your hospital's level of readiness. This webcast will take a close look at the new regulations and provide six valuable compliance recommendations to ensure your organization is on the right path.
