Cayman's global leadership in tax transparency was the focal topic during recent meetings between the Minister of Financial Services, the Hon. Tara Rivers; and high-ranking US lawmakers and regulators.
The summit represents the largest such annual gathering in Brussels.
Minister Rivers met with influential leaders in the US House of Representatives, Senate, State Department, and Treasury.
Noting that developments remain fluid, the Ministry of Financial Services gave local industry associations another update on Cayman's commitments in relation to the EU's assessment of jurisdictions' tax regimes.
