On October 15, 2015, the State Council issued "Several Opinions of the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council on Promoting the Reform of Price Mechanism" ("Opinions") on its website. There are seven aspects relating to the price antitrust in the Opinions: (i) establishing a scientific, standard, transparent mechanism of price supervision and system of antitrust enforcement in 2020; (ii) strengthening the antitrust enforcement and establishing the fundamental position of competition policy; (iii) enacting relevant antitrust guidelines and perfecting the rules of market competition; (iv) encouraging academic institution to develop antitrust research, improving international communication and cooperation and training professional personnel; (v) integrating the antitrust enforcers and powers and relatively concentrating the enforcement power of antitrust law; (vi) publishing the administrative decision pursuant to relevant laws and regulations, establishing and improving clue collection mechanism and broadening the case sources; (vii) promoting undertakings to improve the antitrust compliance system.
