The Cayman Islands (CSX) has announced the appointment of Ann Nealon, a former director of policy with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment follows the conclusion of a short-term consultancy agreement with International Securities Consultancy (ISC), which advised government on the preliminary structure of www.csx.com.cy

Ms Nealon is a solicitor admitted in Hong Kong and the UK, where she practised with the London-based international firms of Clifford Chance and Linklaters & Paines. She was subsequently appointed Head of the General Policy Unit of the Listing Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In this capacity she had overall responsibility for all major policy initiatives of the Listing Division, and for the drafting and implementation of rules, complaints and disciplinary matters involving listed companies and general advice on listing matters.
