May 29, 2019 – Manitoba immigration has issued nearly 200 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in a new Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw.
The May 23 draw saw 119 LAAs issued through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, with a minimum score of 548 points, down by 21 points on the previous draw.
A further 60 LAAs were issued under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative (SRI), part of the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. These candidates required a minimum score of 506 points, a drop of 110 points on the previous draw.
An SRI is when candidates are invited to fulfill a specific labour market need.
Finally, 17 LAAs went to International Education Stream candidates, for which a minimum score is not published.
Manitoba stated that 27 of the total 196 LAAs issued went to candidates with a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code.
