The Ministry of Labour has issued an updated version of the poster entitled Employment Standards in Ontario ("Poster"), which can be found at this link.

All employers in Ontario are required by the Employment Standards Act, 2000 ("ESA") to post the latest version of the Poster, which briefly highlights the main standards covered in the ESA. Employers are required to post the Poster in a conspicuous place in the workplace where it is likely to be seen by the employees and to provide copies to its employees. Copies of the poster are to be provided to a new employee within 30 days of the day upon which the new employee commences work.

In addition, the Poster has been translated to other languages. If the majority language in the workplace is a language other than English, then the employer is required to inquire whether the Ministry has prepared a translation of the Poster into that language. If a translation is available, it must be posted and a copy must be provided, in addition to the English copy, upon request.
