Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 2,878 to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada through Express Entry. The number of invitations increased by 942 from the last draw on December 16, 2016 and is the largest number of invitations ever pulled since the program began on January 31st, 2015. This is the third Express Entry draw under the new point distribution and the number of invitations continues to soar. We hope to see this trend continue. The lowest qualifying score was 475, a drop of 22 points from the last round which allowed for more candidates to be accepted.
